Parents

PTA (FOPS and HTSC)

Both schools have vibrant parent-teacher associations: at Pewley this is the "Friends of Pewley Down Infant School" (FOPS) and at Holy Trinity the PTA is known as the Holy Trinity School Community (HTSC).

HTSC

Christmas trees

Christmas trees are once again available to order through school, with proceeds going to the PTA. Trees are available in three sizes and will be available for collection at the HTSC Christmas fair on Friday 29th November.

Orders can be placed here, where you'll also find further information about the trees. But hurry, orders need to be placed 9/10 November 2024.

Christmas jumpers

This year, we are planning to sell pre-loved festive jumpers at the Christmas fair. We would love donations of your old, outgrown jumpers which we can then give a new home to, whilst raising funds for the school.

If you have any jumpers, please send them in with your child in the coming weeks and their teacher will collect them up for us to sell on. Then on 29th November you can re-stock your festive wardrobe at a fraction of the high street price, whilst keeping clothes out of landfill!

Christmas fair

The Christmas fair this year is on Friday 29th November, 5-7pm at The Spike. There will be mulled wine, caroling and stalls and you can collect your Christmas tree as mentioned above, just in time for December.

Christmas play

A reminder that the Christmas play will be taking place on 9th and 11th December at Holy Trinity Church. HTSC will be selling mulled wine and mince pies for your festive refreshment needs.

Can you help?!

These events can't go ahead without support from the school community, and we will need volunteers for each one - from pouring the mulled wine at the play to running a hot dog stall at the fair or helping people carry Christmas trees to their cars.

If you can help create the festive magic, please let your class rep know, or email htsc@htpd.surrey.sch.uk. Thank you!

FOPS

FOPS raises funds for Pewley Down to support in providing vital classroom resources, providing external visits from outside groups, and helping build the school community. Our events are a mixture of fundraisers and get togethers. Fundraising events include playground bake sales, the Winter and Summer Fairs, and the annual Bake n Stroll. We have meetings every half term and all are welcome!
