JTLYK 13 December
Dear Parents and Carers,
What an amazing week!
The children should be very proud of themselves for their production of ‘A Christmas Carol’. The children, whether backstage, on stage, or having worked in the background have all worked hard and as a team!
Thank you for all your support. We hope you enjoyed the show!
Have a great weekend!
Danni, Jo, Kathryn, Julia, Catherine and Mark.
Art
We continued our study of Nerys Levy and John Dyer in our art lessons this week. The children have been incredibly diligent with their painting, remembering to wait for the layers of paint to dry and to add hightlights and shadows to their work. Here are some examples of their hard work.
Geography
We have reached the end of our journey to Brilliant Brazil. Over the past few weeks the children have been learning about migration, understanding push and pull factors.
This week we finished off by considering how the choices we make in Guildford can make a difference to lives in Brazil. Ask your child if they think a cup of coffee in Guildford can make a difference in Brazil!
Homework
There is currently no Year 6 homework.
