JTLYK 8 November

Dear Parents and Carers

It’s been a great week back at school and the children have enjoyed getting into our new topic for this half term - Old Toys! We have started to learn about toys from the past and would love to borrow anything you are able to share with us.  There is no specific day or time - we are keen to share anything at any time if you have a toy you can send in or bring in over the next few weeks. Please see our letter below!

Can you join us?

On Thursday afternoons this term, we are hoping to go to the Wild Place, weather permitting.  We would love some parent helpers to come with us so if you are free and able to join us, please email us.  We will leave school at 1.30pm and will return by 2.45pm at the very latest. Please bring in wellies if you haven't done so yet.

Phonics

Phonics is a big focus in year 1 and we know some of you are keen to practice at home, which is amazing! Below are the tricky words and graphemes that have learnt this week.
