Wow! What a busy and exciting day it has been today. We’ve all enjoyed our first Fluffy Friday of the year and the children have been amazing. Please quiz them about what they’ve been up to at school – we really do value giving them the opportunity to try out new activities, work with new friends and get to know new adults.

 

This week we have continued with geography and have learnt about the home countries of Nelson Mandela and Helen Keller! The children love looking at maps and atlases. It might be fun to find some at home to share with them.

 

 

PE kits

We will send home PE kits on Monday for a wash and refresh over half term. Please send them back to school on the first day back – Monday 4 November as Monday is a PE day.

A few useful reminders:

• Reading books need to be returned on Mondays. Thank you for signing them each week.
• Library books should also be returned on Mondays.

• Autumn Walk – Thursday 8 November
• Parent consultations – Tuesday 12th and 14th November
