JTLYK 6 December

Dear parents and carers,

It has been an exciting week with the start of Advent and the arrival of all things Christmassy at school! Thank you for sending in costumes for the Christmas play.  As you know, the arrangements are a little different this year. We will send home the costumes on Friday so that you can send the children to school in their costume on Tuesday 10th December.

Christmas Play – further details:

On the day of the play (Tuesday 10th December), please could you send your child into school wearing their costume. They don’t need to bring a school bag to school that day, just a bottle and a coat. This will make dismissing children from the church much easier for everyone.  We will send the children home with you directly from the church.  Please let Emily, Emma and Tilly (PUPS manager) know today (Friday 6th November) if you expect your child to attend PUPS that day. If your child needs to go to PUPS we will walk them back to school once everyone else has left. All teacher clubs are cancelled that day.

Helpers to walk to Church with us on Tuesday 10th December

If you are available to help us walk the children down to Holy Trinity Church for the Christmas play on Tuesday 10th December that would be amazing. Please get in touch to let us know.

Helpers to walk to and from church on Tuesday 17th December

We also need some parent helpers to walk to and from St Mary’s church for our carols and nativity service.  We will leave school at 9am and will return to school at 10.30am.

If you’re around please get in touch to let us know, thank you so much in advance!  This event is a wonderful carol service with a simple nativity story told by some of the Year One children.

The Wonderful Wild Place

Our final visit this term is on Thursday 12th December.  If you are able to join us, please email Emily or Emma. We leave school at 1.30pm and return by 2.45pm.
