JTLYK 15 November

Dear Parents and Carers,

What a lovely time we all had in the church on Friday and thank you so much to the many parents that offered their help for that day.

This week 5K enjoyed their trip to RGS for their topic enrichment Tudor Day. In English we have enjoyed learning more about the ending of Macbeth and we will soon find out if Macduff successfully overthrows the evil king. In maths we have continued our work with fractions and started to think more abstractly about the way a number can be split into smaller parts.

We enjoyed exploring air resistance, in science, by experimenting with homemade helicopters inspired by the sycamore seeds. Well done to the children for their hard work this week. We have loved watching the autumn leaves changing colour and crunching the leaves on the wood’s floor.

URGENT REQUEST: Could you please check that you have responded to the ParentMail regarding the residential trip to Brenscombe.

Have a great weekend.
