JTLYK 11 October

Dear Parents and Carers,

In English, the children have been enjoying learning more about the characters of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. We have been exploring the motivations of the characters and deciding what we think will happen next.

In maths, we have focused on our times tables. We have been exploring multiples and factors and looking for common multiples and factors of different numbers.

We met Henry VIII at the beginning of the week and looked at his significance as a monarch in the Tudor period with the major changes he made to the Church of England.

The weather has not stopped us enjoying our PE dance and netball sessions!

On Monday, we will be going on our trip to the Tower Of London. Please make sure:

Children will need to be in school uniform (Not PE Kit) and have a coat in case of rain.

They will need to bring a bag with comfortable straps with a packed lunch and water.

They are expected back between 4 – 4:30 but do keep an eye on the HPTD website.

Make a special effort to look smart on Tuesday as individual and sibling school photos will take place for Year 5.
