Junior 15/3/13

15 March 2013

Dear Parents,

Well it’s the end of Comic Relief Day at HTPD and it has been great day for everyone involved. I am so grateful to the staff at both sites for making it such a fun and enjoyable day for all the children. We have also remembered those children in the UK and Africa who will benefit from the large amount of money we have raised it has been a great effort. There are many pictures that remain in my mind and I live of fear that some of them will appear on the website, in fact I hear they are already there!

School should always be seen as a community where we learn together in so many different ways. Today new lessons were learnt, not just in cake decoration or belly dancing, but in being a group of people who can have fun and enjoy working together for a worthwhile cause.

I hope you enjoy watching some of the Comic Relief television this evening and contributing still more to this great cause.

Thank you very indeed.
With best wishes, Richard

This half term we are looking for children who have been active on both live mathletics and the Year group activities. There will be a prize for the most active class and one child from YR to Y6. Good luck! Any comments for questions to traceyd@holytrinity.surrey.sch.uk and sheenap@pewleydown.surrey.sch.uk Have a look at the photos of a few of the investigations we have been trying to do around school! Can you solve any of them?! See the "Nrich" website for solutions.
